A DEEPER DIVE INTO MY JOURNEY

All my life, I have been an artist

I began my career by getting a BFA degree in Animation at the Art Institute of Seattle where I specialized in 3D character animation and motion design.

For 6+ years I worked in high-volume and fast-paced cafés, restaurants, and nightclubs across New York City.

And yes... these are stills of me featured on a Vice Documentary back in my heyday.

WHERE I AM NOW

One day... I decided to transition my career to digital product design.

I now have 2+ years of experience working in Product Design working with companies such as PG&E and Under and I am looking forward to the future as I continue to grow as a designer.

STEPHEN STREET GALLERY

Since opening our doors in February 2023, the gallery has hosted over 10 shows, featuring 75 local emerging artists and community workshops.

Outside of work, I can be found at The Stephen Street Gallery in Ridgewood, Queens NYC, which is an artist-owned and run coworking studio space & art gallery that myself and seven other artists own and operate.

Our mission is to hold space for unusual works, for projects that veer into the experiential, and for objects that aren’t traditionally salable. We do this by keeping our overhead low, our spirits high, and our duties communal.

We regularly support our friends and local community of artists by hosting their artwork exhibitions, performances, workshops, and pop-up shops in our gallery space. We exhibit hyper-local artists and every event is open to the public.
